Adjacent to Port Augusta’s main shopping district, the Eastside Foreshore boasts BBQ’s, half court basketball facility, playground, fully automated public toilet, a jetty for fishing and pontoons for swimming and boat mooring. The Swimmers Memorial Garden located on the Foreshore is a popular place for weddings.
A walking/cycling trail connects the Westside foreshore to the Eastside foreshore and the back beach area.
